This is where we talked about the TAV18 syndrome , where we are looking to have a slightly cosmetically different item to distinguish ourselves in the market, obviously as well as adding a bonus. We should also apply our competition search, but our product should not just have something different on it , like a different logo or simple colour change - we should also be offering better value for the customer. We must weigh up competition versus our offering. No matter what we can do in our offering, if the competition is huge then it is not a great investment for us. However there would be a caveat to that, where the competition, even though huge in siz,e is in its entirety overpriced and of a poor quality. Our competition would be classed as a listing/product that we will have to compete against.
